Pamella Protzel Scott always loved getting dressed up and was cultivating her own unique sense of style from a young age. The Los Angeles native is the designer and creative director behind Ella Moss. It began with her friends constantly “shopping” her closet of vintage, handmade and contemporary clothes. Pamella studied graphic design after high school, recognized her true calling and quickly enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in downtown LA. In 2001 she co-founded Ella Moss with Moise Emquies of Splendid. The name comes from a combination of their nicknames, Ella for Pamella and Moss for Moise. So who is the Ella Moss girl? “She’s a modern bohemian. She travels the world and falls in love easily. She listens to feel-good music and drives with the windows down. She shops at flea markets and thinks a beach vacation is the best kind of vacation. She smiles easily and laughs a lot – often at herself.”

We are back and tackling the white trouser! A lot of women have reservations about white pants and with good reason, but release the fear with Hudson‘s white cotton trouser. This fabric is cool, comfy and flattering. We decided to go for three completely different looks to get those creative juices flowing, check it out!

#1 – White pants can look a little preppy sometimes so we toughened this look up with Chaser’s Iron Maiden tee. It gives a relaxed look and the muscle tee style balances out the fullness of the pant. Add tough accessories like a tribal print messenger bag, woven belt and Chan Luu‘s wrap bracelets. We completed the look with Michael Stars amazing new aviator, the Flyer.

#2 – Add a pop of color! This is kind of a no brainer, but don’t be afraid of bright colors and white. The white adds a crisp clean anchor to Bailey 44‘s orange zig zag tank. We added Nakamol‘s beautiful turquoise necklace and neutral cuff. Grab a straw tote and Michael Stars Eclipse sunglasses and you are ready for brunch by the beach.

#3 – Black and white will never go out of style, but instead of basic black try a fun print! We are all drooling over Free People‘s polka dot blouse. The basic black and white give you freedom with your accessories. We snagged a turquoise necklace and bag to balance out the black and white. Michael Stars new cat-eye, the Glam adds glamour to any outfit!
